Channelsについては、Chrome Release Channelsで確認できる。
Stable channel (安定チャンネル): Chromeテストチームの完全なテストを受けている。 マイナーリリースの場合は約2〜3週間ごとに、メジャーリリースの場合は6週間ごとに更新される。
Beta channel (ベータチャンネル): リスクを最小限に抑えながら、次期バージョンの動作確認をしたい場合は、ベータチャネルが最適。毎週大まかに更新され、Stable channelの1か月以上前に、6週間ごとにメジャーアップデートが行われる。
Dev channel (開発チャンネル): 何が起こっているかをすばやく確認したい場合は、Dev channelで動作確認できる。Dev channelは、週に1〜2回更新される。このビルドはテストされているが、最新情報をできるだけ早く確認する目的のため、バグが発生する可能性がある。
